Building an abundant life – Monday Motivator 7 May 2018

“The key to abundance is meeting limited circumstances with unlimited thoughts.”

Marianne Williamson

Hello lovely Motivation Seekers, how has your week been?  Hope that over the last 3 weeks, you managed to create a positive money mindset and got underway with a financial plan to achieve your financial dreams and goals.  I really love helping with this, my dream is for everyone to stop worrying about money and start managing it in a way that makes a huge difference for them and their families.  Please contact me if you want to know more or if you haven’t quite got there yet.  Click here to email me.

I spoke a bit about abundance a couple of weeks ago, but when I came across this quote, I couldn’t resist talking about it again.  What so often happens for us is that we meet limited circumstances with LIMITED thoughts.  Where is that going to get us?  It will get us more deeply entrenched in limited circumstances.  Half the time when we do this, we don’t even know that we are doing it.  I see this all the time with clients, especially relating to money.

Think about how you feel when everything is going well, you are more open.  When you are like that, you can’t help but be more abundant and caring towards others.  You feel that the world is a good place and that there is enough for us all, and you also feel compassionate about others who are worse off.  Furthermore, you don’t feel threatened by others succeeding and doing well.

Wouldn’t it be great to feel like that all the time?  You actually can do that, even in times of adversity, you have that ability within you.  It’s all just a state of mind and is brought about by our thoughts, our beliefs and by the language we use.  It can also be enhanced by meditation, by practising gratitude and by Journalling.

Sounds too hard?  I know, it can be difficult to just get caught up in the rush, rush of modern daily life and have no time to slow down, no time to do the things we need to do to get ourselves in a stress less state of positivity and peace.  But the problem with never making time for that is that nothing ever changes.  If you want things to change, you have to change.

Why not start just one thing this week?  Something that gets you into that lovely, open, abundant and happy outlook.  Make a ritual of it.  Make it a time for you.  It’s important to value yourself enough to do that.

Have a great week, doing whatever it takes to get you where you want to go.
