Managing Stress – Part 1 – Monday Motivator 13 November 2017

Hello Motivation seekers, welcome to another Monday Motivator getting you through your week and making a difference for you.

I thought it was time I tackled stress management again.  At this time of year, when it all gets really frantic, stress can build up to the point where we feel like we are in constant overwhelm.  I know, I always seem to feel at a low ebb at this time of year, I know when it starts to feel like too much and I know what to do to help myself through it.  So I wanted to share some of that with you.  I have heaps and heaps of tips and ideas to help, so I will cover this over the next 3 weeks, so you don’t get overwhelmed and stressed with the stress management suggestions!

I love this quote, as it is about the Law of Attraction.  Usually, when we think about this, we only think of how the Law of Attraction can bring good things to us.  It does work the other way too though!  You can attract what you don’t want.  That’s why it is so important that we practise using positive language, positive thinking and use visualisations of what we do want to bring into our lives.  Every time we let the negativity take over, that is what we are creating for ourselves.  Let’s not do that!

So, for this week I have 3 suggestions for you that you can start practising this week.  These will keep the worries at bay and help the Law of Attraction work for you rather than against you.

The first one is to become aware of your language and thinking.  Most of the time, we don’t even know we are being negative.  Just notice what you say and think, and actively turn around that language and thinking.  It is possible to turn around your thinking and language, you just notice it, then change it.  Writing in a journal is a fabulous tool to grow awareness of your state of mind and magically your mindset improves when you download in the journal.  It’s a great way to reduce stress.

This brings me to the next suggestion in building positivity- to practise gratitude.  Share that with your family, every night at the dinner table – the 3 things you are all grateful for that day.  If you don’t do dinner with the family, consider starting this – it is a great bonding time, especially if phones and digital devices are switched off.  I guarantee you will feel less stressed through doing this.

The next suggestion is to visualise what you want to bring into your life.  If you want to feel calm, confident and in control, visualise yourself that way.  This is a powerful way to transform your life, your story and your way of thinking.  Not to mention that it assists the Law of Attraction in getting you the future you want.
