“What you think you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine you create.:
Hello Motivation Seekers, how are you? I hope your week has gone well and if you are a parent in NZ that the last week of the school holidays was happy and relaxing. Did last week’s Motivator about life/balance review help you in that? I really hope so.
I have recently been doing a lot of Law of Attraction work on myself. There’s a weird thing that goes on when you coach people, you give to others, you assist, support and motivate, but sometimes you forget to do it for yourself. I know, you would think that a coach would have all the answers. Sadly, we’re human too, with all the grief and dramas going on in our lives as well. Of course, the flip side of that also, is that we are human – we get to connect with others, we can catch up with friends, enjoy fun and laughter. I recently read a book that was set well into the future and humans had been replaced by another race, that was a bit robotic and lacking in emotions. They ended up deciding to bring humans back, as life just wasn’t as good without all those emotions driving us. So, next time you feel too emotional, recognise the good that is in that!
Anyway, back to the Law of Attraction. It’s funny when I mention this to people, so many will say that it’s rubbish, or that it doesn’t work for them. How can using affirmations and visualisations attract stuff to you? I’m a living testimony to the power of the Law of Attraction. My husband and I had been wanting a house with sea views for what seemed almost all of our lives. One day, I sat down and did a vision board of what I wanted. The result was that within 2 months, we had found our dream house along with dream views, see the pictures above of the vision board and the house and view.
Does it seem too easy? We had been looking seriously for about 5 years, but it wasn’t until I did the Vision Board that it happened. It didn’t happen through sitting back and hoping, we had to be actively involved in the process. Checking out ads, contacting real estate agents, going to open homes. When it happened though, it was like it was meant to be. We found the house just before it went on the market and put in an offer straight away, which was accepted within a day or so. The point is, that we took action, I think that makes the difference. The Law of Attraction, finishes with action, so visualising and affirmations are really powerful, but accompany those with taking action and there will be no stopping you.
As Buddha says, “what you think you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine you create.” The Universe is waiting for you, don’t let it down, start this week in creating the life/business/career/relationship that you want. You have the power. Have fun with that this week.
